July 2010 Cystic Fibrosis Benefit Cash & Other Raffles Due to circumstances beyond our control we are sorry to say that the Benefit Golf Outing was cancelled. The good news is that $862.30 was raised through raffles and the Ladies Auxiliary donated $500 for a total of $1,362.30 for the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation. Fun was had at the Aerie in the evening of July 31, 2010 for the drawings. The winners of the raffles are as follows: CASH RAFFLE WINNERS LOTTERY HAT WINNER: Ann Ross July 2010 2010 Chicken Barbeque Proceeds from the 2010 Chicken Barbeque held at the Durand Eagles Club in July and sponsored by four community organizations and their auxiliaries went to the charitable choices this year of the Durand VFW Reed-Raymond Post. Of the funds, $1,000 is going to the Durand Patriots, $2,176.92 to Durand Area Loaves and Fishes and $2,176.92 to the Jon Simonson Press Box at Durand area schools. Check presentations were made Wednesday, Aug. 4, at the Eagles Club.
