2009 Old News Boys Paper Drive
The Old News Boys Paper Drive held on November 14th
2009 Cruisin for a Cure 63 bikes participated in the 5th annual Cruisin for a Cure
Bug Run The Bug Run to Hell and back was a success, seventeen bikes participated, Thank you Jack for the Bug Run n Hell and Back jersey you created.
Patio Completed After months of anticipation the balcony has opened it’s doors for the annual Cruisin’ for a Cure. Bob Bacon spear headed the operation with help from so many people we can’t list them.
Durand Area Chicken Barbecue The Durand Eagles Aerie #3851 hosted the Durand Area Chicken Barbecue. The Barbecue was sponsored by AMVETS Post 2273, Eagles Area #3851, Durand Lions Club, VFW Post 2272 and the Moose Lodge 2508. Over $5000.00 was raised for the three charities. 40% went each— the Jon Simmons Press Box, 40% to the Durand Patriots, and 10% to the Durand Fishes and Loaves.
2009 Car Show Durand Eagles Aerie #3851 had the house rocking with good old time music and a spectacular car show. The President Award when to Jim Heiser. The car show help raise funds for the Byron Fireworks. Click the link below for more pictures and information.

Eagle Riders on the Move
On May 9, the Eagle
Riders participated in the Bikin' for Burns fundraiser that raised funds
for fire departments in Shiawassee and Genesee counties.

Celebrating 30 Years
We celebrated our 30th year of people helping people
on Sat March 07, 2009, and it was exquisite. We had a
full house and everyone had a wonderful time.
2008 Christmas Party Pictures Santa was
on hand for a visit at the 2008 Children's Christmas
Best Ever The Old News Boys Paper Drive held on November 12th was the best on record. The Auction held the following night did not do as well as last year but the total money raised this year $15,766.00 and in the end 409 children were helped. Hats off to everyone that helped.
